The Spear of Alexander

Historical Adventure novel, currently seeking agent representation.

In the summer of 1914, British archaeologist Freya makes the discovery of a lifetime in Alexandria: a clue that could finally lead to the lost tomb of Alexander the Great, but her triumph is short-lived. As Europe plunges into war, the German mercenaries hired to protect the dig turn on her, believing the mythical Spear of Alexander is in that lost tomb, and that it can grant its wielder the power to win the war. The mercenaries hold hostages as leverage, forcing Freya to confront an impossible choice: lead the enemy to raid the tomb she has spent her life searching for, or condemn innocent lives.

Freya has sacrificed everything, including a relationship with the only man she’s ever loved, to become the foremost expert on Alexander the Great. Though she guides the Germans, her cunning mind works against her captors as she leaves a trail of clues behind her, praying they will reach the one person capable of finding her.

Ody, Freya’s young American protégé and the love she left behind, receives a cryptic letter from her just as news of the war breaks. Realizing the Germans have taken her, he abandons his quiet academic life without hesitation. With almost no plan and against all advice, he sets out across a continent descending into chaos to find her. Crossing enemy lines, battling raiders, and surviving deadly traps, Ody risks everything for the woman he refused to stop loving.

As Freya fights to stay alive and undermine her captors from within, and Ody fights to find her before it’s too late, they each reach the same devastating conclusion: it is likely that neither of them will make it home alive.

In the Night Time

Horror novel, currently seeking agent representation.

After a catastrophic television appearance that ends in arson and a near-fatal encounter with an immortal cult, Richard Claus—a cynical seventy-two-year-old horror writer facing terminal cancer—recruits David Dilger, a brilliant but damaged twenty-three-year-old investigator, to unravel a conspiracy that spans multiple supernatural realms. Their partnership becomes a razor-edged journey through metaphysical mysteries: from sentient corpse-puppeteering vegetation in Savannah to dimensional wormholes in a Bible-themed park, where each case peels back layers of cosmic horror while excavating the protagonists' devastating personal traumas.

Richard grapples with a lifetime of moral failures—including a high school murder, abandoning a pregnant girlfriend, and a violent family history, while David battles substance addiction and a literal demonic entity consuming him from within. Their investigations become a crucible of potential redemption, with each supernatural encounter pushing them closer to a final, apocalyptic confrontation with an ancient cult seeking to unleash the primordial evil within David.
